Hello, I don’t know much about card games, but I’m beginning to learn some. I found your game both intriguing and beautiful. Then I read the development thread on BGG and liked it even more.

I have a few advice on presentation if you are ready to take them. And a jam that could interest you: https://itch.io/jam/saturday-morning-cartoon-jam

Hello DeRell. I am baffled to receive the compliment on the art side. Thank you for checking it out and also reading dev log on BGG!

Please do! I am always ready to take in advice.

And I’ll check the jam out. This is the side of itch.ok that I haven’t been familiar with. Will DM you if I have any questions.

Then here you have: I found it hard to read the rules, it took me time. I was put off by two things:

  1. the gdoc is good for commenting but it needs some formatting to be more easily readable
  2. the tutorial is nice but until you commit to play and print the cards, the rules on the pdf are a challenge to read. Instead of a procedure, I first needed an explanation of what the rules do in plain language. What experience will I be going through while playing. Will there be hard choices? is it easy to get an experiment, but difficult to get exactly what you want? That sort of things.

Thank you for your patience, and good crafting!

Thank you the suggestions! I spent the morning formating the rules and made them into the 2 sided A4. I hope now it now explaing how the game works.

And for your second point. I added a sentence or two in intalic under every action. I hope it brings better sense.

Ah as for the game jam, It's cool, I like it.
I think I'll take part in it as soon as I get the illustrations finished. :) So thank you for the invitation!
